The legs are formed start-ing at the waist by using a heavy pressure and movingin the direction illustrated. The arms are formed inthe same manner starting inside the body. After pipingin the feet, the suit is trimmed with ruffles at the neck and waist in a contrasting color.The clown may be made in many different positions.Another method of making this clown is to pipe it inroyal icing on waxed paper. After it is completelypiped out, bend the waxed paper at the waist in asitting position. When the royal icing drys the waxedpaper may be peeled off and the clown will be in asitting position and may be placed on the cake. |
