In making the Lily of the Valley use a royal icingthat may be lifted up and worked into flower arrange-ments after drying. The two long leaves are made onwaxed paper with a No. 67 leaf tube. The cone isfilled with thinned down delicate green royal icing. The small white lilies may be worked directly on one
of the leaves. A more lifelike effect is obtained byusing a thin green cloth-covered wire cut to the properlength and and placed into the leaves as illustrated above. The lilies are then placed on the wire with asmall cone of royal icing. These are made by a seriesof circular motions which simulate a tiny bell.
